Here are the festivals held on Ivy Point. They will be started by an admin, and most will take place in the town square.
January 1
New Year's Day
A festival celebrating the beginning of the new year. People sit on the East Foxglove Cliffs and watch the sun come up. It is considered a community event, and just about everyone is there with a group of friends and family.
February 14
Valentine's Day
The day when girls give out chocolate to friends, family, and, of course, that special someone. Keep in mind, ONLY girls give out chocolate here. Girls are required to give chocolate to at least one guy who is not related (by blood) or roleplayed by themselves. (If she is homosexual or bisexual, this does not apply to you. You must just give out at least one piece of chocolate to a character not related or roleplayed by yourself.) They do not necessarily need to have feelings for this person, this is just to make things more interesting.
March 14
White Day
The day when guys give out chocolate to friends, family, and, of course, that special someone. Keep in mind, ONLY guys give out the chocolate here. They do not have to return chocolate to those that gave chocolate to them, though it is considered polite. Guys are required to give chocolate at least one girl who is not related (by blood) or roleplayed by themselves. (If he is homosexual or bisexual, this does not apply to him. He must just give away chocolate to at least one character not related or roleplayed by yourself.) They do not necessarily need to have feelings for this person, it is just to make things more interesting.

All Hallow's Eve (Halloween)
A day that, in the past, was used to dress up as various ghouls and goblins to warn them away. Now, it is a reason to pretend to be someone you're not and beg candy off of strangers. Though the trick-or-treating part is mostly for the kids, it is very popular among adults to dress up anyways and buy two bags of candy, one for the kids, one for themselves.
November 26
Thanksgiving
A day to give thanks for food and the simple things in life. The town hall holds a huge feast, including a FAT turkey and more food than anyone will be able to eat. However, people still bring food to share with everyone, as it fosters friendship, and it is a way of giving back to the community.

Midwinter
The first day of winter and the longest night of the year, not to mention the coldest. This is probably the biggest festival of the year, and, as such, requires the most planning. People also exchange presents on this day.
December 27
Starry Night Festival
A night for celebrating the stars shining brightly in the skies. Many people go down to watch the night sky, and it is said that the stars are brightest then. At this time, it is a new moon to it is very easy to see them. Every few years, there is a meteor shower! This festival is popular among young couples, but many other people are in attendance, too.
December 31
New Year's Eve
The end of the old year. A small carnival is held during the daytime, with various games and contests. Younger children ride around on horse rides, people sell food, and the entire town has a cheery atmosphere. Then, as night falls, everyone heads over to the East Foxglove Cliffs in preparation for bringing the new year in.
