game description, hailing all the way from south korea, jung-hee has left behind quite a bit of history in the big city of seoul. he was formally part of a korean mafia group, the geondal. he left for personal reasons, mainly because he was tired of the senseless violence and redundant money collection tasks. he's come to ivy point to hopefully live a less 'roller coaster'-like lifestyle.
other,
- he was raised around gang violence since he was very young. his older brother was a choice member of a korean mafia group referred to as the geondal. jung-hee would later become apart of this group.
- being orphans, jung-hee and his brother did not have much of a choice between starving to death or being provided with shelter, food and a family (somewhat).
- this particular group acted much like an actual mafia, where they treated each other like family with little disrespect amongst each other. however, there were still strict rankings.
- jung-hee's brother was a day away from becoming the groups legitimate 'father' or leader before he was murdered by a rival gang that had been bumping heads with them for years. jung-hee was about seventeen when this happened. they offered the leadership role to him when he became of age, but jung-hee adamantly refused.
- luckily for him, his 'family' was still willing to help him out. the young boy had grown tired of his life where it stood. he spent months grieving until he was pushed back on his feet and shipped off to ivy point with a bit of money in hand to find himself a suitable place. before he left, he heard someone mutter something about a war about to break out between them and the gang that had killed his brother. he hasn't heard from his family since.
- he has tried to get in contact with them. unfortunately his endeavors were to no avail. he still thinks about them now and again. but those thoughts often lead to him locking himself away for several days with little communication with the outside world.
- jung-hee mainly keeps to himself and dislikes large crowds, open areas and secrets. his years in the geondal trained him to keep his eyes peeled and his guard up at all times. it is extremely difficult to earn his full trust.
- he is surprisingly claustrophobic. small spaces and/or large groups of people around him make jung-hee extremely nervous and irritable.
- his lack of known history before he arrived at ivy point allows him a new start at life. jung-hee does not speak about his past lifestyle to anyone in fear that people may judge him and his family, misunderstanding him.
- Jung-Hee secretly loves raccoon dogs. They are one of the only things that instantly make him genuinely happy.
