Perhaps she was immersed in one of her costumes... Maybe he should have came another time? Jung-Hee considered just coming back another time before the door opened to reveal a purple haired girl. She even wore her costumes at home it seemed. He briefly wondered if she ever got tired of wearing those things. But his attention was brought back to Emma once she spoke.
He blinked when she offered for him to come inside. Should he say yes...? Well y-yes of course he should have! He didn't want to seem rude. Nor was he in a terrible rush to get back home. Not that there was anything or anyone there waiting for him anyway... There was only an empty house there to welcome Jung-Hee.
He could tell she wasn't expecting company today. Nonetheless him of all people. He scratched the back of his head a bit awkwardly before noticing that Emma looked a little tired. Like she had just woken up. The signs were a little too obvious even from behind those glasses of hers.
"S-Sorry, did I wake you? I won't stay long then..."
Jung-Hee handed her the navy blue envelope, his hand still behind his head. "I just came to give you this."

“I was just taking a nap, its no big deal,” she stepped to the side to let him into the house. “Probably saved me from screwing over my sleep patterns again anyways.” She looked at the latter, taking it from him with a puzzled look on her face. What was that for? She was pretty sure he had gotten her package by now, she figured that’s why he would have showed up… right? But if he just wanted to give her a letter it could have just been put in the mailbox. She would’ve gotten it just as quickly.
She led him through the house to a small sitting room. The house was decorated nicely, and rather clean. It was only Emma and Lumiere that lived there of course, so the only place that wouldn’t be clean would be Emma’s work area more than likely. The décor was fairly proper, clean cut and so on. It was Lume’s choice really. Her room had her posters and all. That’s all she needed.
“Do you want some tea or something? Coffee?” She really didn’t have people over often. The house was her sanctuary from the outside world. Her and Lume didn’t have company that often. She held the letter in her hand, really wondering what it could say…
But, at least her peace treaty seemed to have worked.

He could see bits and pieces of Emma's other persona scattered around the house as he stepped through it. He looked about, giving everything a thoughtful glance as he was led through it. His home was rather plain compared to this one. This house was splattered with personality, decor representing the individual tastes of Emma and whomever else lived here. Jung-Hee hadn't taken the time to decorate his home. What was the point? He didn't the money to just go out and by things. Besides... he didn't even know what he should put where. He had no pictures to hang up either. He had nothing left of his family back home. Not even his brother. He never really thought about taking a picture with him. Not until Jung-Hee lost him.
He wasn't sure of how long he should have stayed. If he should have stayed at all. He only came here to deliver the letter. All that he wanted to say to her was in that letter. It would be sort of pointless to just have her read it here and now so he could feel all awkward. Jung-Hee nervously slipped his hands in his pockets, force of habit now that he had become more passive around people.
"Ah, no. Thanks though."
Ah, he showed up so unexpectedly. He didn't want to trouble Emma anymore than he had to. Eh, why did he care? Why was he bothering to be so kind-like around Emma...? Well. Because she chewed him out, yeah. And apologized like the bigger person. Which made Jung-Hee feel a bit embarrassed.
"I... Also came to apologize. I-In person." Jung-Hee crossed his arms, staring at the floor awkwardly. He never had to apologize to anybody before.
"I-I... Didn't um... I didn't mean to be such a jerk. The other day... I was just having a really bad day. A-And... I'm sorry. If that affected the way you see me. I guess..."
He sounded stupid didn't he? He sounded like a babbling idiot.
"But if you have any hard feelings I don't care." Jung-Hee's eyes flickered off to the side, his brows furrowing and his expression resembling that of a frustrated child. He didn't want to look like a punk of anything! A softy who apologizes with flowery words strung together on the skin of his teeth. He was nothing like that! If she knew the real him though... She'd probably dislike him greatly. But something told him that weird, freaky thing called 'woman's intuition' would allow her to see right through his rouse. On the inside he was just a kid.

Emma Iris sat across from him and blinked curiously. Why was he so tense? "Calm down," She smiled nervously. "You don't have to be so tense..." SShe thought to herself for a minute. what could she do to make him feel more comfortable? If they were going to be friends, him being this tense around her really wasn't going to make it the easiest thing in the world. "You don't need to be sorry. I said more than you did... I just didn't see how far I'd gone." She really wished she could give him a cup of tea or something. He reminded her of a stuborn, yet truely sorry child... Either that or a kicked puppy. "I'm gonna go make some tea. you leed to loosen up. We're friends now, remember?" She gave him a smile, getting up and heading towards the kitchen. She took his letter with her. She was able to forgive and forget, at least this time. His appologising helped with that, and if he hadn't come to say he forgave her, She would have been left thinking about it all day... Sitting wondering what was going through his mind, and if he really did hate her like it had seened after their little argument. But still, she wanted to get through to him that he could be himself around her. That could have been a little hypocritical for her to say, so she didn't say it out loud. Or at least she knew he'd more than likely find it that way. She put water in the kettle, opening the dark blue envelope with care. If she was going to read it, now was as good a time as ever... and maybe it would give her a little insight to what was actually going on in that head of his. She scanned the latter reading it quickly as she set some tea cups, a little box of cookies, the sugar, milk and tea pot on a small tray. She poured the hot water into the ornate and antique looking tea pot, letting it steep for only a moment before she went to return to the room she had left Jung-hee in. "You don't need to get me anything Jung-hee." She said insocently. "It was my peace treaty, I was the one being a jerk." But still, why had she reacted that way? Normally, people like him couldn't get past her wig cap. She had fairly thick skin as it were... At least towards other people. Their comments didn't get to her, but it was still a mystery why his pierced her so baddly... But no. She was the one who was supposed to feel bad abotu what she did. Not him! She wouldn't stand for him being upset, when it was so obvious that she was the one at fualt. ((.... Wrote this on my spare LOL Sorry if its short / meh. I promise my next post will be better ))

Because he never stammered so much. It was irregular for Jung-Hee to not be confident in what he said. Him noticing it for himself made him a little worried. He didn't feel sick or anything. So what the hell was the problem here? Was it Emma? No. Couldn't be. He didn't like her like that! She wasn't his type. 'Sides, he didn't even know what type she was with all those cosplays she hid under. He didn't even know her real hair color. It was quite sad. B-But it was only the first day he ever really took the time to interact with her. He was starting to feel a little bad for all the other times he may have been a bit of a jerk to her. But Jung-Hee was a jerk to everyone! For his own reasons... Once was enough to get it through people's heads that he wasn't the friendly type.
But...
But here he was stammering in front of a girl. What the hell was going on with him? Jung-Hee plopped down on the couch, staring down at the floor awkwardly.
"M'not tense..." the pale haired male mumbled. But he was indeed tense. Just after he finished his sentence, he loosened up. All the more proving of Emma's point.
She said they were friends now though... She wasn't kidding around with him was she? She was being foreal? Ah... Jung-Hee never had a friend before. He just had his family and his brother. Up to a certain point in his life anyway. At least he didn't need any friends with them around. All he needed was his family. But now they were no where near him and no matter which on he contacted, none of them answered. He gave up a long time ago. Was it finally time for him to move on?
Jung-Hee felt nervous when he noticed that she took the letter with her. Jeesh, what if she thought it was stupid- Wait why the hell was he worried about that? Crap he was such a nervous wreck now. What was going on!?
His head shot up when she said that he didn't have to return the favor. N-No way! She wasn't about to not take his damn gifts! Kyaa he wanted to be nice!
"I'm going to anyway." he said stubbornly. He was going to to it no matter how many times she said he didn't have to. Jung-Hee crossed his arms over his chest and furrowed his brow, giving her a firm stare.
"No isn't an option."

“No, you’re not getting me anything Jung-Hee.” She sounded rather serious about this matter as she poured the tea into the two awaiting tea cups. It was a red-brown colour, and smelled of all the spices of the rich chai mixture she had used. She poured some milk in her cup wit the tea, with a small spoon of sugar. “And how do you take your tea?” She went from the serious, almost scolding expression on her face to the innocent, sweet sounding question in a snap.
She blinked at him; both of them were rather tense. There was something about him, she felt comfortable but at the same time nervous… “And being friends doesn’t mean this is just going to turn into some sort of gift giving war…” She said a little quieter. “I want to be your friend. You aren’t obligated to do anything like that for me Jung-Hee.” She only gave him that gift to kind of help him see who she is. The things inside all meant something to her. If anything, something that helped her see through im would’ve been nice…
But he looked like he needed a hug more than a gift- No. No. Emma shook the thought of that out of her head, hoping there was no sign of blush on her face.
This isn’t a shojou manga, Emma Iris. She thought to herself as she thought of questions she could ask him to try and pry through him…
“So… I know you’re new here… So you’re from Korea, right?” She was only guessing from his name, but maybe this could spark some sort of conversation. There had to be a reason for him to move here, and she was pretty damn sure it wasn’t so he could live out some life long dream to be a mailman.
All she wanted was for this to be a friendship. A non-awkward one. She had friends around ivypoint, but they weren’t really close friends. Jung –Hee was probably the first person she’d actually invited in… Then again, nobody really came to visit her. She was friendly with everyone, at the very least. She could go up to just about anyone and ask to hang out… but the number of people her age in the area was kind of small… She could probably list the kids around her age on one hand. But that was really what you could expect from a small town. It was growing though, as was evident by the arrival of people like Jung-Hee. But in a way, she liked the town small… It was peaceful and quiet.
“Err- I mean, I’m just guessing from your name. S-Sorry…” She didn’t want to offend him, who knew, he could be Korean, but not actually be from korea.
No. Bad Emma. She mentally kicked herself, hoping she didn’t do something that would upset her new friend.

Surely she jested... She must've been joking. Perhaps not since she sounded so deadly serious about the whole matter. But didn't chicks like to be bought things? That's what made girls happy right? He didn't understand. He really didn't. Girls were hard to figure out. There were so many types... like Pokemon. So much to keep up with. But this wasn't the time to be comparing women to Pokemon. He had to convince her to allow him to return the favor! She was generous to him. Kind enough to allow him a second chance that he could have easily declined and stamped a mean ass 'Return To Sender' sticker on that box. Yet Jung-Hee didn't. He even took the charm she gave him along with him. It was snug safely in his pocket. He was afraid he'd get lost or something on the way, being the paranoid Jung-Hee that he was.
He sighed, keeping his gaze solid, but lowering his eyelids just slightly. He leaned back against the soft cushions of the soft and blinked at the tea. He thought he said he didn't want any... She kept giving him stuff that he didn't ask for and wouldn't let him return any of it! What sort of girl was Emma Iris? She was so hard to figure out... A conundrum that flew circles around his brain. Gah... Damn her.
"Just one spoon." he said looking of to the side. She was too nice. It was bothering him but... at the same time it made him slightly content. That someone would even take the time to think about getting him of all people anything. He supposed that she was right. This wasn't going to turn into some gift war. They'd be broke by the end of the week if that transpired. However, one box of gifts equivalent to hers would be just enough. Right? He had a little money to the side that he was going to use for himself but... He supposed Emma Iris was definitely worth the time. If she and him were going to be friends. He wasn't sure how friends did things, but it couldn't help to learn could it?
His eyes darted back to her when she apologized, explaining her purpose for asking her question. He hated remembering where he came from. He could never be proud of it. Or what they did. How they did it... But they were still a family. Still Jung-Hee's family...
"Yeah. I do. Not the great part either." he said rather solemnly. he wasn't shy to say that much. Jung-Hee wasn't fortunate in the sense of happy upbringings and family movie nights. His life was completely different. "I'd rather not talk about it."
Jung-Hee was still sore over the fact that he was alone and on his own. While everyone else fended with help from someone else. It only made him bitter and snappy. He was also thinking about it. Jung-Hee paused for a long moment.
"Why are you being so nice to me?"
He wanted to come right out and say it. He needed to know why she was trying so hard to be his friend after all the shit he had said to her that day. Why didn't she just walk off and shake it off? Forget about it like everyone else.

If Emma Iris were a Pokemon, she would probably be a Ditto. She was a Ditto, and he’d be one of the more … Fierce looking Pokemon. Absol maybe? Whatever. You could spend a whole day searching through Pokedex trying to match somebody with the perfect Pokemon.
Emma Iris passed the cup of tea over to him, just as he wanted it. She blinked, trying to think of something else to say… Something else to ask. All she wanted to do was start up some sort of conversation… Why was this so hard? She just wanted to be his friend… She stayed quiet for a moment at his question. She didn’t quite know what to say… Or how to react to a question like that. Was he not used to people who were just friendly for the sake of being friendly?
“You always seem so grumpy,” she said quietly, still trying to think over a good answer. “And theres just something about you… I don’t know?” She obviously didn’t have a real answer to spout out to him. Why did she want to be friends with him so badly? She took a sip of her tea, looking up and blowing the fake bangs from her eyes. “Have you never had somebody who just wants to be your friend just because?” She looked concerned. She wanted to make him Happy. She wanted to see him smile. She liked making people happy.
“And in all, you seem like a good person,” she looked him in the eyes, through her glasses, feeling kind of sad that he didn’t seem too comfortable being friends with her too. “Your letter kinda proved that to me.” If he weren’t a nice guy, he wouldn’t have sent her a letter himself, or shown up at her house. He wouldn’t have been there now if he wasn’t a good person.
“Why, do you not want to be friends with me?” She was over thinking things now. Really. She tried to push that thought from her head. Didn’t he want to see who she really was? He had gotten annoyed with her characters during their little argument… She was trying, she really was… but if he didn’t want to be friends, was this just a lost cause after all?

Didn't know why it was so hard for him to either. He just concluded that he wasn't used to such kindness. And that anyone outside the Family that said they wanted to be friends... usually meant they wanted something out of you. His brother had always told him to be weary of such actions and phrases. It didn't matter who it was. Age didn't matter either. Children were prime examples of brain-washable material. However, they most definitely wasn't the case. Jung-Hee was no longer in Seoul. The people here had nothing to take from him. No reason to act as shady as he might have imagined. Especially Emma. She was a nice gal. There was absolutely no reason she'd be so nice to him just to get under his skin or anything...
He sighed, sort of annoyed with himself. He was being difficult wasn't he? Jung-Hee looked up when she replied. Her question sort of took him off guard. Did he ever even have someone like that? No... Not that he could remember. He was an orphan, there for he never attended school. He only had his brother and Family. Though they weren't related by blood, he still loved them like brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts... Jung-Hee blinked quietly at his tea before taking a sip.
"No," he said dryly. He wanted to refrain from sounding like a cliche train wreck and avoided the topic of him being an orphan his whole life. "I've never had a someone like that."
He didn't consider himself grumpy... Just... Guarded. He wanted to get close to someone. Have someone to talk to as a friend now and then. He was tired of brooding alone for so long. But he was so set in his ways. Jung-Hee just didn't know how to take someone's offer of genuine friendship. Though he was happy to know that she thought that he was worth the effort. He didn't think himself at all to be a nice person. Far from it. He blushed just slightly when she mentioned the letter. God, now that he thought about it, that thing was so embarrassing... He was being all nice and polite in it. Far out of character. At least speech wise. Audibly. He would never say anything like that aloud. It just seemed way too strange...
Jung-Hee took another sip of his tea, quietly staring down into the mixture. He quickly looked up when Emma asked if he didn't want to be her friend. Oh jeeze, was he really acting so coldly?! H-He honestly had no idea he was giving off that sort of vibe... Oh dear.
"N-No, that's not...!"
Jung-Hee stopped, catching himself before he panicked and said something stupid. Though his eyes were widened, distressed. And his cheeks were rosy pink. Jung-Hee froze for a moment, looking more like a deer in front of head lights. Shit... He looked like a total punk ass right now. Fretting over some girl!! They weren't even like that! He quickly sat back, setting his tea on the table and crossing his arms again. He furrowed brow and stared at the floor rather flustered.
"That's not what I meant..."
He honestly did want a friend. A real friend. He wanted to be as lucky as everyone else.
"We can be friends, I guess."
It was painfully obvious he was putting up some sort of front. As much as Jung-Hee tried to hide it, he was a nervous wreck and gradually growing worse. He just... didn't want to fuck up. Not when he was this close to getting an actual friend of his own.

Emma watched him, seeing how flustered he was, his rosy cheeks giving it all away. It made her want to laugh... If it weren't for the loud beeping of her cell phone off in the corner of the room, she would have instinctually given him a hug, ruffled his hair, or done something stupid like that. His awkwardness about the whole situation was just so... cute? That could've been the word, if it weren't so embarrassing to think about.
Friends didn't call each other things like that- Did they? Or well, she was used to friends calling her cute when she was in costume, but she really didn't think of people like that a lot of the time. That word just didn't seem to fit him, if she'd said it out loud, she would've only made him blush more... Or at least thats what she imagined as she raised her eyebrows looking at the phone. The first few times it wasn't too bad... It was the ringtone that meant there was an order request coming into her email. Nothing big.
It was after it had beeped around ten or twenty times that she started to get worried.... Hadn't she set up that stupid wait list? Had it glitched or something? She bit her lip, grabbing the phone and looking through the messages her eyes going wide. “... Just- what- How...” She was screwed to say the least. Only the first few would make it on time, unless she started right now and didn't sleep more than a few hours until they were all done. “Ahhh- Come with me, I kinda need to post something on my website-” She knew the holiday season was coming up, but still. This was ridiculous. She had never received this many orders all at once. She had to put up a notice that any orders sent after these wouldn't be taken until the current ones were done... Even with this many it would he more than just a struggle to get them done.
She finished off her cup of tea, really wishing she could have responded to what Jung-hee had said... but that train of thought was long gone by now. It had driven off and was nowhere to be seen. “S-Sorry but either somethings wrong with my website, or ...” she didn't even know... She could tell that this wasn't just some internet troll... all the emails had reference pictures and everything she needed to actually make the commissions. Some of them were just for hats- clothing or costume parts. There were only a few on the list that she had extras of to ship off right away... It would take her ages to get all of this done.
The thought of all of them made her a little dizzy. “Ahh- So…” She didn’t want to kick him out, but with this volume of an order, she had to start as soon as she possibly could. “The next nice day we have, how ‘bout we go for a picnic or something?” She asked, turning off her phone for the time being just in case the beeping decided to continue. “apparently I’ve got a ton of work to do… So…” She felt awkward, She wanted to be able to get him to stay longer. She liked having somebody around besides Lumiere once in a while… Though priorities were priorities, right?

Awkward. He didn't know what else he should have done. What is it that friends really did? Didn't he watch enough tv to know about this stuff? He stared at the floor, going over what little he knew about 'friends'. Before this he never really had a need for friends. He didn't think they were really... necessary. But now that he was by himself, Jung-Hee realized it was high time he made an effort. That meant he should be pulling his weight in this relationship too! W-Wait, that made it sound like they were a thing or something! No, no, they were nothing like that. Emma didn't like him that way. That was pretty obvious. And he... he wasn't sure he liked her that way either.
He raised a brow at her phone when the device began to beep out of control. What the heck? Was she getting mass text spam or something? Oh maybe she was texting a bunch of people at once. But she looked just as confused as he was. Jung he turned his full attention to her when she asked that he come with her. But why did her website concern him?
His body defied his mind and stood up just as she asked. He didn't notice until he was up already. Usually he wouldn't be so flexible for someone else if there wasn't anything in it for him. But he realized that this wasn't for nothing. Emma needed help with her site because those were orders coming in. All at once. Poor Emma... She couldn't possibly tackle all those orders by her lonesome. There was just too many. Jung couldn't leave her to work tirelessly by herself! Jung-Hee may have been selfish, but he couldn't be that cruel. He might have softened up during his time here.
"Tell me what I need to do."
He spoke without hesitance. He was ready to assist in any way he could. If they were going to be best friends, and get along, he was going to do whatever he could. This could be part of his pay-off as well for the things she bought him. However, he was still going to buy her some nice crap okay.
